Built for one person.
Maybe useful for more.
Hi. I'm Lars — and I'm genuinely proud you downloaded my app.
Truth is, I made it mostly for myself. But to get it onto my Apple Watch I had to put it on the App Store. So here it is: a motivational app that helps me put one foot in front of the other and go for a walk.
Why I built it
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in April 2026. I'd rather move than take medication — so I started going for walks instead. But the big, well-known apps were either too complicated or too "make-me-a-world-champion". I don't need to be a world champion. I just need to be the best version of myself — so my kids are proud of their dad, and maybe one day I can get off my medication.
The feature I love most
The halfway route: I park the car, walk out along a route — and the app calculates when I should turn around so I end up exactly where I started. Simple. And on the way home, I can race my own outward pace. That's it. That's the feature I couldn't find anywhere else.
Can it help you?
If just one extra person moves a little more because of YOU CAN'T RUN, it's all worth it. My sub-goal is eight paying users — not because I expect to get rich, but because an Apple Developer account costs €99 a year, and it had to be good for something.
